HILBRE HIGH SCHOOL CELEBRATES  GREAT  RESULTS

Hilbre High School Humanities College, West Kirby is in celebratory mood today, as its Year 11 students arrive to receive GCSE results that reflect their excellent achievement. Months of hard work and effort are clearly evident in the grades they have achieved.

Hilbre continues to enjoy considerable success with significant numbers of pupils excelling, including this year’s highest point scorer Lucy Jones, who achieved an outstanding 1 A*, 1 grade 8, 5 As, 1 grade 7 and 1 grade 6, Some other top point scorers deserving mention are Louis Norton, Josh McBeth, Oliver Stanley, Amy Nightingale, Lauren Birks, Thomas Swinscoe, Jacob Owens, Oliver Gartland and Ellener Lewis - to name but a few!

Hilbre’s Headteacher Mark Bellamy says, “I am thrilled with the excellent achievement made by so many of our students. This has been a year in which we have pushed our students hard so that they produce their best; I am delighted to see that these results reflect the excellence we have here at Hilbre. Our students’ success reflects substantial hard work and commitment and they have benefited from the tremendous dedication and support offered by all the staff here. So many of our students are now staying on to continue their studies in our excellent Sixth Form, no doubt encouraged by our superb A-level results; we look forward to welcoming many students back to post-16 courses in September.”
