Free School Meals
If your child is entitled to free school meals then their card will be charged to the value of a free school meal for each day. This means that no student will have to use a different system for free school meals and ensures that they do not feel that they are singled out when using our catering facilities.
If your child wishes to bring a packed lunch into school then we urge parents to ensure that it is healthy and meets the recommendations for children’s diets.
Energy drinks are prohibited. An energy drink is something that contains caffeine. Please check the ingredients for this. We discourage fizzy drinks such as Coke, Sprite, Fanta and Lucozade.
Break time Snacks
A brunch bar service is available during morning break.
All students will be actively encouraged to drink water during the day. Students will require a water bottle which is durable and will not leak. Students will be able to fill these bottles during the day.
