Tracey Williams Has Sadly Passed Away. May She Rest in Peace
Dear Governors, Staff, Students and Parents
I am, yet again in the position of having to inform you of more sad news. I learned yesterday that Tracey Williams from our canteen suffered a stroke on Friday and sadly passed away.
I have been in touch with the family this morning and they have given me permission to let you all know.
Tracey was a big personality in the canteen and she will be deeply missed by us all and particularly by the ladies who worked so closely with her.
Her daughter in law messaged me saying that “Tracey loved working at the school and had done so for more than 20 years”. In recent years students will know her as the lady on the till; she always had a smile on her face and a great sense of humour. It is fair to say that brunch and lunch at Hilbre won’t ever be quite the same again.
On hearing the news, a colleague wrote “That is such sad news, she was great with the kids, especially some of our more 'challenging' ones; she was able to build a good relationship with them and they always respected her.”
On behalf of all the Hilbre community, I would like to send our condolences to her husband Paul, her children Graham, Michael & Rachael and all of her wider family and friends.
Looking forward to brighter and happier days to come.
Rest in peace Tracey
Yours sincerely
Mark
