HILBRE HIGH SCHOOL 'A' LEVEL RESULTS 2020: CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR STUDENTS

As we all know, it has been a strange and very different year for examinations. In such circumstances, we are delighted to be able to announce that the vast majority of our post-16 students have achieved the grades they thoroughly deserve.

Results awarded show good value added to our students’ learning throughout their studies. We wish to congratulate every Hilbre student who has achieved results today, for their perseverance and hard work throughout their time at Hilbre High School.

Headteacher Mr Bellamy states, “Hilbre’s students, teachers and indeed, all staff work tirelessly to ensure results reflect the endless effort and dedication of all involved. I am delighted that our young people have received the grades to enable them to look back at Hilbre High School as a place where they have been able to excel and move forward in their life-journey with the best options ahead of them. In many cases, students are going to the university destinations of their choice and I wish each and every one of them the very best.”

Hilbre’s Sixth Form remains a popular choice for students with these results showing why. There is a broad range of subjects on offer, spanning academic, vocational and technical courses in a curriculum clearly targeted to suit the wide scope of student interest.

Students who achieved particularly high grades across their subjects are: Amber Boileau-Bennett, Thomas Jenkinson, Chloe Greensmith, Natalie Taylor, Nathan Barham, Kieran Collins, Jordan Fawkes, Ronan Friel and Nicholas Halliday.

Our congratulations go to every post-16 student receiving their results. At Hilbre, we are proud of all who come to our school and proud of their successes. Well done to all!
