Local Food Banks

Wirral Food Bank

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

The Trussell Trust: Wirral

We support a nationwide network of food banks, and together we provide emergency food and support to people locked in poverty, and campaign for change to end the need for food banks in the UK.

Fight food waste

Too Good To Go

Every day, delicious, fresh food goes to waste at cafes, restaurants, hotels, shops and manufacturers - just because it hasn’t sold in time. The Too Good To Go app lets you buy and collect this food - at a great price - so it gets eaten instead of wasted. You won’t know exactly what’s in your order until you pick it up - it’s all part of the surprise.

OLIO connects neighbours with each other and with local businesses so surplus food can be shared, not thrown away. This could be food nearing its sell-by date in local stores, spare home-grown vegetables, bread from your baker, or the groceries in your fridge when you go away.

An outline of SEND services and their contact details but with a specific focus on one topic. With the long six weeks holidays a handful of days away and after listening to our Parent/Carers, we decided to put the focus of this edition on What’s on this Summer.
